Auto Resume on Broadcaster V1

Streaming from legacy hardware, such as the original version of the Livestream Broadcaster, will no longer be supported on May 25, 2022. Please contact support with any questions.

The Livestream Broadcaster has the ability to scan all available internet connections in the case you lose connectivity during a broadcast. With the "Auto Resume" option enabled, the Broadcaster will cycle through all available connections (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 3G, and 4G) for 60 seconds. If a signal is not found in that timeframe, you will be asked to manually choose a connection.

To Enable the Auto Resume Option, follow these steps:

Power the Livestream Broadcaster on and pair the device to your Producer Account. Once you have manually chosen your Internet Connection type, you will be back on the Broadcaster Main display.  Select Menu, then Broadcaster.

You will see the options Auto Resume and About. Choose the Auto Resume option.

Choose On and then confirm the selection.

You have now enabled the Auto-Resume option on the Broadcaster. In the event that your main source of internet connection is lost or drops, the device will then cycle through other options to find a connection on any other configured options (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G).

When your internet connection is lost, you will receive a message that the live transmission has stopped and internet connection signal light on the bottom left corner will blink on and off.

The device will then begin scanning through other available internet connections for 60 seconds.
