Can I Capture from My DVD or Blu-ray Player?

DVD and Blu-ray signals will not be recognized by any Livestream encoder as sources.

This is due to High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP). HDCP-encrypted content is currently not supported by any Livestream products. The system is meant to stop HDCP-encrypted content from being played on unauthorized devices, or devices which have been modified to copy HDCP content. HDCP content protection is a hardware based encryption, and therefore can be present on a capture device even if you are using content that you have the rights to capture.
