Streaming from the original version of the Livestream Broadcaster is no longer supported. Please contact support with any questions.
When you power on and connect your Broadcaster, it will automatically look for a firmware update.
If new firmware is available, you will be prompted to either update or close out to skip. If you skip, the Broadcaster will prompt you at every startup to update. We strongly recommend keeping your firmware up to date to avoid any bugs that may have been fixed.
When you do update, be sure that:
- The device is plugged into a power source
- You are using reliable Internet (the Broadcaster Pro should ideally be connected via Ethernet).
For the Broadcaster mini, you will need to open the Livestream app and navigate to settings > Livestream Broadcaster > select your connected Broadcaster mini. The app will prompt you if the firmware needs to be updated.
