I'm Watching an Event on But There Is No Sound

If you are watching a stream or video on demand on Livestream, but can't hear any sounds please check the following:

  • Can you hear sound from other sources? Play something from another app or website such as iTunes or YouTube to make sure your speakers are on and working. Make sure to try headphones too.
  • Check the speaker icon on the Livestream player. If you look at the bottom left corner of the player and see the following icon, that means the player is muted:

Click the icon to turn the sound back on and adjust the volume.

Still not hearing sound? It's possible the account owner that is producing the event is not sending sound to the stream. Viewers should reach out to the organization that owns the account for issues of this nature.
