Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle

Last updated on Jul 31, 2013 12:55PM EDT

The Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle is the perfect solution for HDMI or analog video encoding via USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt, integrating flawlessly with Livestream for Producers. With a neat, compact design, the Intensity Shuttle is very portable and easy to set up. As the input and output connections are on different sides, you can simply plug the unit in line with your existing cable setup.

NOTE: The Blackmagic USB 3.0 encoding devices only officially support certain USB 3.0 devices/chipsets.  Our team has tested the Intensity Shuttle with version 9.1.0 and the following laptops: MSI GE620, IBM Lenovo W520. This device is NOT compatible with Dell computers. We give no guarantee it will work on any other USB 3.0 device.

  • This device will only work with PC computers running Windows 7 via USB 3.0 or a USB 3.0 PCI Express Card and a x58 or P55 series motherboard.
  • Does not support USB 2.0 capture.
  • This device does not support Audio only streaming. There must be a video signal for the device to be recognized in the Livestream for Producers software.

For HDMI Workflow:
Connect your device to the "HDMI In" port. Audio can either be on the same HDMI cable or come in via the Left and Right analog audio ports.

For Composite Workflow:
Connect your device to the "Video in" port. Audio would need to be input via the Left and Right analog audio ports.

For S-Video Workflow:
Connect your device using a S-Video splitter to the "S-Video In" ports. Audio would be input into the Left and Right analog audio ports.

For Component Workflow:
Connect your device to "Y In", "Pb In", and "Pr In" ports. Audio would be input into the Left and Right analog audio ports.
