The BlackMagic H.264 Pro Recorder is one of the most popular devices used to stream via USB 2.0. This capture device will work with almost any Mac or PC laptop running Livestream for Producers software. The H.264 Pro Recorder offers ingest of HD and SD-SDI with embedded audio and HDMI with embedded audio, along with component, composite, and 2 channels of analog audio.

 

• This device does not support Audio Only streaming. There must be a video signal for the device to be recognized in the Livestream for Producers software. 
• This device selects resolution automatically. 

ALWAYS HAVE YOUR VIDEO/AUDIO DEVICES CONNECTED BEFORE CONNECTING THE USB CABLE TO THE COMPUTER


  Connect your device to the "HDMI In" port. Audio has to be on the same HDMI cable.
 
For Composite Workflow:
Connect your device to the "Y or NTSC/PAL" port. Audio would need to be input via the Left and Right analog audio ports.

For S-Video Workflow:
Connect your device using a S-Video splitter to the "B-Y or S-Video Y" and "R-Y or S-Video C" ports. Audio would be input into the Left and Right analog audio ports.

For Component Workflow:
Connect your device to "Y or NTSC/PAL",  "B-Y or S-Video Y" and "R-Y or S-Video C" ports. Audio would be input into the Left and Right analog audio ports.
